Central locking working. however when told to lock the front passenger door makes a lovely grinding sound.
stripped off the door card etc, turns out its the actuator. needs replacing obviously, or can i strip it?
seen prices at about 60 quid plus the vat. rather not pay that. anywhere cheaper?
read on here that you might be able to get them at maplins? please clarify.
also fitting. the two wires that go into it, is there a connector inside or something? the wire rund off into the door without a connector in sight , and it seems to go into the actator with no clip/connector whatever.
